# Northwest Fortune Solutions > Northwest Fortune Solutions is a one-person software studio run by Junior Fortunato — a U.S. Army veteran and IT director in Hillsboro, Oregon. He designs, builds, ships and maintains the software businesses run on: the screens, the server, the database and the cloud. He also trains the people who use it, with the written procedure and the hands-on sessions to go with it. This site is itself one of those systems, with its public pages on the front of a working internal console. > Last reviewed: 2026-08-31. ## Services - [Managed Website + Local SEO Essentials](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/local-websites): A custom responsive website with up to five core pages for $1,495 upfront, followed by $149/month from launch for managed hosting, maintenance, routine updates, reporting and ongoing local SEO work. - [How an engagement works](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/tech#the-offer): Learn the business first, build the custom system, train the people who use it, keep it running, and produce the evidence an audit needs. - [Consultation](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/tech#consultation): The discovery work before a build — following the actual process, finding where information is retyped or lost, and defining one system around the business rather than around a generic template. - [Documentation and training](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/tech#training): Written operating procedures, hands-on training with the staff’s real work, and notes that are updated when the software changes. ## Pages - [Home](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/): Who Junior Fortunato is, five services in the order an engagement happens, four sourced business figures, featured work, two things he found wrong in his own code, and paths to the defined website package or a larger custom engagement. - [Local website package](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/local-websites): Published scope and pricing for local companies: what the upfront build includes, what happens each month after launch, the vision-to-launch process, ownership, boundaries and answers to practical questions. - [About](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/about): The long version — four years running a software company alone, then taking a healthcare company off paper. U.S. Army veteran, IT and compliance director. - [How I build](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/tech): Six decisions that shape every project, each with what it cost stated. Written for a hiring manager, not only for an engineer. - [Work](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/projects): Seven platforms designed, built and kept running — two of them publicly live, the rest private or internal. Includes the healthcare operations system a company has run its whole day on since 2023, and the same product rebuilt four times in four languages. - [Engineering notes](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/engineering): How the platform actually works — identity, permissions, audit logging, the AI entry-point platform, four backends compared, and the defects a self-audit found. - [The nest](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/birds-nest): A standing comparison of back-end languages. One access-control console built four times — Python, C#, Go and TypeScript — with the front end, database, schema and feature set held identical, so the language is the only variable. Publishes lines of code, image size, cold start, p95 at one caller and at four, and throughput, each with the method that produced it; the environment and caveats; where the languages made no difference at all; where a measurement contradicts the author's own written verdict; and what has not been measured yet. Underlying record: https://nwfortunesolutions.com/assets/four-builds.json - [Documentation sample](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/documentation): A worked sample of the written half of the work — a complete operations manual and training plan for a deliberately fictional bakery chain. The client, the system and every name, date and number in it are invented; the format and the level of detail are the real ones. - [AI console](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/ai-console): An in-browser demo, no sign-in. It says plainly in amber when no real model answered, so a keyless demo can never imply otherwise. ## Contact - Email: nwfortunesolutions@gmail.com - X: [@nwfortunesol](https://x.com/nwfortunesol) - Instagram: [nwfortunesolutions](https://instagram.com/nwfortunesolutions) - TikTok: [@nwfortunesolutions](https://tiktok.com/@nwfortunesolutions) - GitHub: [itdept-ops](https://github.com/itdept-ops) ## Legal - [Privacy Policy](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/privacy): How location and account data are handled. - [Terms](https://nwfortunesolutions.com/eula): Terms of use.
